North Shields Fishermen

North Shields, located on the banks of the River Tyne where it flows into the North Sea, has always been a busy fishing port. Early photographs of fishermen are often posed for the camera, partly because too much movement created a blurry image. This action shot captures the fishermen unloading their catch and has just the right amount of blur to create a sense of activity and movement. Wonderful!
