Haworth Parsonage in Yorkshire was the home of the Bronte sisters, whose books are as popular as ever. The parsonage, shown here, is now the Bronte Museum and thousands of Bronte enthusiasts from all over the world visit each year. If we stand in the same position today, as the photographer did then, little has changed. This is a very early image, probably taken in the 1870s.
