Brayford Pool, Lincoln

Brayford Pool is a natural lake in the centre of Lincoln. It is connected to the River Trent by the Fosse Dyke and has been used as a commercial waterway for centuries. In this photograph, taken in the early 1900s, you can just make out the outline of the Cathedral in the background. Lovely!
