A Railway Station Moves From Lancashire to Yorkshire

Disused railway stations are normally demolished but not this one. We see it here in the early 1900s at Foulridge near Colne in Lancashire. Following the closure of the line, the building was moved, stone by stone, to a new home at Ingrow West on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire. This preserved railway was the location for the film ‘The Railway Children’. Interestingly, there is now a plan to reopen the Lancashire line. Will they want their station back?
